WINDOWS flagged my 3D Modeling App as a VIRUS

WINDOWS flagged my 3D Modeling App as a VIRUS

✅✅ Get Stove (67% OFF): https://uniday.studio/link/stove ➡️ Get Cave Engine: https://uniday.studio/cave ✅ My Discord Channel: https://uniday.studio/link/discord ➡️ Buy me a Coffee (Patreon): https://uniday.studio/link/patreon ---- ✅ Official Note Stove does not contain any malware or Trojans. Because Stove is a relatively new Windows application, Windows Defender and some antivirus software may occasionally flag the executable as suspicious. These detections are false positives. If you encounter a warning, you can manually allow the file and run Stove normally. We are aware of the issue and are also submitting false-positive reports where applicable. Thank you to everyone who reported this and helped us investigate it. ---- ✅ Video TLDR: Some Stove users have recently seen antivirus warnings identifying the program as potentially unsafe. ➡️ Is is a FALSE POSITIVE! This video explains what is happening, why a newly released Windows application can sometimes trigger a false positive, and why this warning does not mean Stove contains a Trojan. Stove has already been used by hundreds of people creating and sharing 3D assets, and in the scan shown in the video, only a small number of antivirus engines flag the executable while the others report no issue. I also explain how software reputation can affect new executables, why these warnings often disappear as an application becomes more established, and what we are doing while Stove continues to grow. If your antivirus or Windows displays a warning, this video gives you the context behind it and explains why we believe this is a false positive rather than a security issue with Stove. 00:00 A Quick Update About Stove 01:27 Why Some Antivirus Tools Are Flagging Stove 01:52 Is Stove Actually a Trojan? 02:58 Why New Software Can Trigger False Positives 03:44 How Antivirus Reputation Works 05:31 How These Warnings Eventually Disappear 06:12 The Other Option: Signing and Certification 07:53 What to Do If Stove Gets Flagged 09:27 Reporting Stove as a False Positive 09:58 Why I Wanted to Address This Publicly ························································ ► Uniday Studio By: Guilherme Teres Nunes
