Stove automatically generates UVs for your models, but unlike traditional 3D software, I still don’t want users manually editing UV maps. The whole idea of Stove is to keep 3D modeling and texturing as simple as possible, so instead of copying Blender’s workflow, I’m trying to solve the actual problems that normally force artists to edit UVs in the first place. In this video I show the new pixel-perfect painting, improved texture bleeding, per-face texel density controls, and a new way to align UVs directly to your view without ever touching the UV map itself. You can give important faces more texture resolution, reduce resolution where it doesn’t matter, fix texture orientation, regenerate the UVs automatically, and keep painting directly on the model. ➡️ Chapters 00:00 Why I REFUSE to Add UV Editing to Stove 02:14 The New Paint Mode in Stove 1.8 03:07 Pixel-Perfect Painting Is Finally Here 04:55 Fixing Texture Bleeding 06:24 Why You Probably Don’t Need UV Editing 08:29 Solving Texel Density Without Touching UVs 13:28 Fixing UV Orientation Automatically 15:46 The Whole Point of Stove 1.8 ························································ ► Uniday Studio By: Guilherme Teres Nunes
