In this first official Stove tutorial, we are doing something appropriately ridiculous: modeling a Blender inside Stove. The video walks through the complete workflow of creating a stylized 3D game asset, starting from an empty project and covering navigation, modeling, shortcuts, selection modes, loop cuts, bevels, extrusion, proportional editing, smooth shading, automatic UV generation, and texture painting.
We also explore Stove's painting workflow with masks, gradients, randomized brushes, ambient occlusion, pixelation, edge painting, and other tools designed to make game asset creation fast and straightforward. The tutorial is especially aimed at Blender users who want to understand how familiar workflows translate to Stove. Once the model is complete, it can be exported as an OBJ and imported into virtually any game engine.
