You play as a lab experiment who escapes from captivity to explore a massive archipelago and track down the scientists who created you. At first, it seems like a normal action RPG. You can answer questions, meet NPCs, and complete their quests to earn positive alignment. But here is where it gets crazy... You can actually choose to attack and permanently eliminate any NPC in the entire game. If you don't want to do someone's quest, you can just destroy the quest giver and lose that quest forever, dropping your alignment into the negatives. If your alignment gets too low, the surviving NPCs will start treating you differently, and you will even trigger a completely different ending to the game.
