Using nodes for everything in Godot can cause serious performance problems in some situations. Luckily, we have access to the rendering server, which allows you to do a lot more a lot faster. In this Alchemortis devlog, I show how I can instantiate and render 100+ items in my game within a single frame, using the RenderingServer.
