Stove is a lightweight Blender alternative built specifically for retro, low-poly, and pixelated 3D game development. Instead of including complex rendering, compositing, video editing, and material systems, Stove focuses on a fast workflow for 3D modeling, texture painting, and exporting game-ready assets.
In this video, I demonstrate Stove’s modeling and painting tools by creating a stylized pine tree and a low-poly rock from scratch. You’ll see automatic UV generation, gradients, texture masks, edge painting, ambient occlusion, pixelated textures, proportional editing, and OBJ export with the material and texture generated automatically.
