For 6 years I thought being busy meant I was growing. Every job came through me. Nothing moved unless I moved it. I was proud of that. Then someone I was paying told me my business was a slowly sinking ship. And I realised the harder I worked, the more the business stayed exactly the same size. So I stopped trying to work harder. I picked 1 job I did over and over, and built it once so I never had to do it again. Then another. Then another. Now the work gets done when I'm not at my desk.
