Heyyyyy, how you been? Today we're having a cheeky gander at the NOISE node in the Unreal Engine 5 and why we may want to use it over a traditional noise texture sample. It can be incredibly useful as a replacement for tri-planar noise/textures, being used in a Height Lerp, amogus other things. Prismatica is an indie game currently in development by one human and four cats in Melbourne, Australia. A challenging RPG experience in a beautifully stylized world that harnesses inspiration from melee combat games such as Mordhau, Mount & Blade and Dark Souls and conveys it from a top-down perspective. My mission is to demonstrate that learning the required skills to develop and ship a game can be done in spare time with the right attitude.
