In this tutorial, I walk through the creation of a custom Houdini tool, used in my game SILKROAD Project, that generates natural and believable rocks from a simple base shape using a fully procedural workflow.
Starting from clean, basic geometry, we build a flexible system that fractures, reshapes, and adds variation automatically, making it easy to produce consistent results while keeping full artistic control.
This solution is designed to be procedural, scalable, and production-friendly, making it ideal for fast iteration and reuse across multiple assets.
